The mylonitic gneiss exhibits a well-developed S-C fabric.
The white feldspar porphyroclast (just below and left of center) has
recrystallized tails indicating top-to-the-left (SW) shear.
Note that the rocks in this photo have experienced a brittle overprint of the ductile
fabric.
