I am currently a graduate student in the Active Tectonics, Geomorphology and Quantitative Structural Geology Group in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University. My research focuses primarially on the roll of strike slip faults in intra-continental deformation. I am currently working on a project in the Northern Tibetan Plateau doing paleoseismology on the Altyn Tagh Fault with Dr. J. Ramón Arrowsmith. This project is in collaboration with Dr. Eric Cowgill Associate professor at the University of California, Davis and his Ph.D. candidate Ryan Gold also at the University of California, Davis. Our research focuses on determining an acurate Holocene slip rate and paleoearthquake history for the Central Altyn Tagh Fault.
